It’s always nice when idents fit the programme you’re sponsoring. The first series of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’
and ‘Fruit Pastilles’ were the perfect match. At the time we weren’t aware that the series
would go on to give us such delights as Stavros Flatley, Susan Boyle and Pudsey the dog.

Fruit Pastilles sales were the fastest growing of any major confectionary brand that year.
Paul Potts won with his singing and I won a BTAA arrow for the idents.
